Succinctly, Women in Blockchain Talks is the award-winning female-led monthly educational and networking event where dynamic women in the industry share their knowledge, thoughts, and insights on their tech, career and business journey!

ITZEL YARD
@ix.shells is a generative artist based in the Caribbean - Panama. Their constant research is fueled by a sense of rhythm, passion and wonder.
Itzel Yard holds the title of highest selling woman in the NFT space and at pair with contemporary artists with the artwork produced for @torproject “Dreaming at Dusk” (2021) sold for 500ETH (~two million dollars at the time of auction, May 14) Her work was recently auction at @christiesinc in the curated Proof Of Sovereignty by @yesladypheonix
Most of her work can be found @withfoundation. It’s currently projecting at the museum Francisco Carolinum Linz in Austria @ooe.art and upcoming shows include @unitdrops in London @vellum_la in los Angeles California.
RANDA AL RIFAI
Randa Al Rifai is a seasoned professional in the Lebanese Banking Industry. In 2016, Mrs Al Rifai had the privelege to be the first certified woan in the Middle East in Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology, which led her to initiate and lead the first Bitcoin & Blockchain Community in Lebanon (BBB Labs).
She stands for a mission of education and raising awareness through delivering training sessions, organising conferences & events, and leading community collaborations. Randa is also the founder of L.A.D.T. The first Lebanese NGO for Digital Transformation and a Lebanese Ambasssador for "Institute for the Future" (IFF) - University of Nicosia. Mrs Al Rifai is also a startup mentor and a public speaker.
Lavinia Osbourne, host and founder of WiBT, will discuss with Ix.Shells and Randa why they got into Blockchain; how they got started, their area of expertise and any advice they'd give to women (and men) wanting to create their place in this innovative and rapidly progressive industry.
